Another day, another loud awakening...oh well. The day started with Cabin 2 being late to wake up, and I REALLY need my sleep or I'm as inanimate as a sack of sand, no, a SNAIL...covered in molasses...on a cold...January morning. Ugh. Anyway, today we learned about (SQUEE! Here comes the good part) Ada Lovelace, one of the greatest female mathematicians and the first programmer OF ALL TIME!! Boom! She was very creative when she was a kid, but she never met her father, Lord Byron (he was a poet), and was home-schooled at age 8. She designed a flying machine when she was 13, though she had many illnesses as a child. She died due to bloodletting that really didn't need to be done, and of cancer. Also, we learned about the Fundamental Counting Principle (When there are m ways of doing something, and n ways to do another, there are m x n ways to do both.), polygons and polyhedra, microbiology, and how good that delicious pizza from lunch tasted. J.K.! But that pizza was yumtastic... Anyway, I was soooooo tired today. :P I was all like..."Uuuuuuuulgh..." Here's a polynomiograph or two...
